Skye is our smallest cottage, but it's cozy feel makes it the favorite of many of our guests. A marvelous little gem, in Skye Cottage you may choose to sleep in the loft for great views of the gardens and the beach from your bed or you can sleep on the ground floor, right in front of the fire. Please see notes below regarding the specifics of Skye Cottage.
- Watch the tide roll in from the comfort of the double-size McRoskey mattress, snuggled under a down comforter with 400-count cotton sheets and down pillows.
- A wood-burning fireplace, fully stocked with premium firewood.
- A kitchen with a small fridge, a four-burner range, an oven, cookware and utensils. (Note: there is no microwave)
- Locally roasted coffee and organic teas. (Note: we do not provide milk).
- A private deck is the perfect place from which to watch the comings and goings of the waterfowl, read in the sun or gaze at the landscape.

- Skye is one of our dog-friendly cottages. Please note: there is a one time $50 dog fee per reservation. Max 2 dogs.
Sleeping Options: Skye Cottage has two options for sleeping.
- Option 1: There is a lofted double bed featuring a McCroskey super comfortable mattress, handmade in San Francisco. (Note: the ladder up to the double bed in the loft is quite steep (see picture below), and is not for everyone).
- Option 2: There is a daybed with a trundle that pulls out to become two twin beds on the main floor. (Note: The trundle bed pop-ups so the twin beds on the main floor can be placed side by side at the same height).
Please Note: The shower for Skye Cottage is located just outside on the deck so you will be showering al fresco. The shower is under a roof and there are privacy curtains - see picture below.
