Comments from our Guest Book

Returning to Dancing Coyote for the second time has been better than our best expectations. We've had four nights of books by the fire, deep and dreamless sleep, foggy mornings - they allow one to linger over coffee & muffins, and short drives to glorious hiking on sunny afternoons. We returned to some old trails & found some new ones just as great. There were more elk on the Tomales Point trail than we'd ever seen - and close enough to take portraits of the big bulls.

We marveled again at the taste and comfort with which the cottage is furnished. There's everything we want and just the way we like it. It's so nice to be able to grill a steak at the cottage or dine at one of the good restaurants nearby. We look forward to next time!

"A full week here, so this really became 'home', and it was a perfect place to come back to after several great hikes. We had perfect weather for all but one day -- sunny and high 60s. Hiked to Chimney Rock and around the point on a weekday when we could park right at the lot and hit the trail. Wildflowers everywhere! Also did 10 miles on the Coast Trail - amazing. And could only stare at the waves on North Beach - where nature is clearly in charge.

Great meals at Manka's, the Station House, and the Pine-Cone Diner. Café Reyes also a good, relaxed place with good food.

Fires in the fireplace everyday - morning and night. This was a perfect place to escape what was a ferociously hard winter back in Boston, where we normally hang our hats.

All the good feelings of folks who've stayed here over the years are in the air here in Birch. It is hard to leave.

"A beautiful place to escape the cares of the world with the one you love."

We're celebrating 25 years of being at Pt. Reyes and Inverness. We've stayed at many places on Tomales Bay, but Dancing Coyote is the place for us. We've enjoyed the peace and calm here.

We'll be back!

What a beautiful picturesque place to be for some R&R....

We love the uniqueness of the architecture & the skewed windows and canted walls (we're architects). The many windows capture the beautiful vistas in all directions. What an enchanting place. Love the rusticness of the old boats.

Thanks, Jeanie and Phil
